Create Moments of Joy Everyday
All around us these days we are assaulted by negativity. It is thrown at us through the TV, Magazines, Billboards, Internet, Social Media, Verbally, Gossip, etc. There is negative energy that floats around and gets stuck in our own energy fields and there are negative people that attach to us and suck the joy out of life right before our eyes. Not to mention the negative thoughts and beliefs that bounce around in our own heads! So will all this negativity bombarding us from all directions, it can be hard to focus or find moments of Joy. However to counter-balance this negativity, we need to focus on creating more Joy and Love in our world.
Every day make it your mission to create moments of Joy for yourself and others. The can be as big or as small as you like, it is not the size that counts but the loving intention behind it. What we are trying to achieve is to bring more joy into our world, and to do this from a grateful and loving space.
Here are some of my favourite ways on creating moments of Joy every day.

A Joyful Moment for Me:
To pause with your favourite cup of tea or coffee. To sit with a homemade ANZAC biscuit and the latest issue of your favourite magazine.
To take a moment to sit and nourish yourself with your favourite little things.
A Joyful Moment Shared:
To share a hug with the ones you love. Whether it be a family member, friend or co-worker, sharing a hug is a beautiful way to express love and gratitude for each other without having to use words.
Plus did you know that when we hug, Oxycontin (known as “the cuddle hormone”) is released, making us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Hugging is a natural stress reliever, so grab someone special and share this beautiful moment of Joy together.
A Joyful Moment In Nature:
Being in nature helps us to unplug from technology and connect with our natural state of being. To be aware of life’s every day beauty and nourishment. From getting our daily intake of Vitamin D, to improving our blood pressure through fresh air. Take time every day to be in nature. It is such a joyful moment for our minds and bodies to stand with our feet in the ocean or on the grass. To be grounded and grateful.
